The CDL-Hazardous Material (HM) Training is an 8-hour course that meets the new FMCSA Part 380 Appendix E, certification of training requirements prior to DOT theory testing for ELDT regulations. This comprehensive program provides students the opportunity to enhance their knowledge from experienced instructors in the classroom on hazardous material requirements for CDL drivers. Driver-trainees seeking an H endorsement, as defined in §383.93(c)(4), must complete this curriculum to take the State-administered knowledge test for the H endorsement.
